Love is a misunderstood, under researched, over used and overly abused word. It has always amazed me how words like love and life, two of the most intense, complex, beautiful, euphoric, nostalgic, and powerful experiences we endure can be defined in only four letters. Its amazing how we can treat them like any other words, how we just throw them around. What sickens me even more is the fact that love, its meaning is exploited and can be bought and sold in the blink of an eye. The profit made is huge, for example: Valentines day. Its beginning to seem like a competition, like love is more about expectation than trust; How greed and people being so naive has taken control. Valentines day is a day of opportunity for single people to become aware and take note of the complete and utter sick commercialized world that surrounds us everyday, its a key opportunity for us to see how we feed the habits of corporal greed, because at the end of the day we are so in depth of our own ignorance it can’t be beneficial.

Love is essentially a development of trust, a feeling of mystery while wrapped around the arms of safety, Where somebody else climbs to the top of your wall of insecurities and takes a vow to protect, Its an intwinement of compatibility between the souls. An understanding and opening a portrayal of beauty to oneself,while enduring the similarities and excitement that comes along with it “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” I am stressing an opinion, a point of view, for I believe that we shall never truly understand the full extents of love; We are aware of the moral boundaries it presents us with.

We may all experience a personal level of what we interpret to be love at stages in our life, Sometimes the easiest and most natural way to express the unknown is through the power of a simple smile. I believe that the power of love takes time and can develop from a lifetime of experience. One brief tap with the realization of love though and it can leave your mind with unanswerable questions and wonders.

I have felt the loss of love on a notable  scale twice. One when the feeling was what I believed to be mutual and the second..well the second was an untaken opportunity. It was life. Life had let me go, and it decided to bring faith and truth with it. It did however leave me with awareness; Or maybe strengthened my sense of awareness. Another view that I hold is that Love is meaning and what is meaning without purpose. When the love for humanity has been poisoned by greed, when we take more from the earth than it has to offer. When we use science as an excuse to argue the reality and religion to abuse it. Reality is a state of mind that we let Knowledge, ignorance and society sculpt for us. And why? Well because that’s life. And whats missing? Freedom. Life without freedom is life without peace, and deprived of both freedom and peace you stand alone in a world that does not care, you are just another detail. A detail in a world where happiness can only truly be found when it is shared.

I have given up on life but not on love. I may not have faith but I do have hope. If in any relationship embarrassment plays a role would I be wrong in holding the view that in that scenario you do not really love them, you admire them? To an extent that is. People now days talk about the pain of love, that is a pain that can only hurt as much as you let it hurt; When feelings run deep so do emotions. If one could simply accept a certain measure of the pain and live up to their previous promises; To be happy as long as the other is happy, and to always be there for one another. I am not saying not to be hurt I am saying try to understand that “There is always madness in love, but there is also always reason to madness”. I am fully aware of that fact that a sense of shock, fear, loneliness, breach of trust, or loss of a loved one may leave a gaping hole of heartache hat even acceptance can not fill. The emotional heartache brought upon by an immediate premature decision can cause a pathway of emotional consequence and trauma.

In today’s society so many people are wound up in love, its almost becoming a label, God knows its selling well. With the huge number of divorces and broken families shown by statistics today its hard not to question what went wrong and why? Maybe its pressure, the stress brought upon by society, Morals eating away, The materialistic world that surrounds us..who knows. I would like to finish off  this blog with two metaphors of mine.

No.1: The water bottle metaphor: When you take notice of a water bottle, who’s main purpose is to hold water. When new it comes locked with a seal, A seal we have learned to easily break(We have brought ourselves to a point where we let anybody interfere ‘break’ with our emotions) When this seal is broken the contents can be emptied much more easily. Its purpose(Water) is taken from it, It is refilled again and again. And who knows at some stage along the line one might even break the ‘natural order’  and put a substance which is not water into the bottle. We abuse the bottle for our own satisfaction, entertainment, benefits, advancements and complete lack of respect. Not everybody will do this but a lot will. When the bottle is empty it is nothing more than a vessel. A vessel full of opportunities and uses; But when filled with water again it is seen as using its full potential.

No.2: The phone metaphor: Every phone comes with a charger, and every so often that charger brightens everything up and puts everything back to its full potential. After so long with out its charger it will begin to go down and down and down until eventually it dies…(just like once you get a taste of love and lose it, after a certain period of time you begin to lose hope and something inside you begins to die). But what if one day this charger went missing? if the phone was out on its own? A lot of people would say that it can easily be replaced, But in a way maybe that’s all it will ever be..A replacement..

Bare in mind that this is a blog and it can and probably will be updated due to life experiences and new found knowledge opinions tend to change or be slightly altered.

 ”Love is the strongest force the world possesses, and yet it is the humblest imaginable.”

My ideal world does not exist, not yet. I have no doubt that it will exist someday, someday the people will wake up, my fantasy will become a reality. For knowledge is power; Climb to the top if that’s what it takes. Take control, destroy oppression, end corporal greed, end war, and stop the war on poverty becoming the war on the poor. Bring it all down and do it in the name of justice and equality, paint it with the caption: FREEDOM.

Those in favor, those who are unafraid, those with their eyes opened, those are the ones who will help to build it all up again. To build it fairly, equally, normally, A country where the power belongs to the people, where ignorance is ridden of and Peaceful Anarchy is no longer concisely explained. We will go down in history no matter what we do so lets make it interesting.

By ‘it’ I am referring to the delusional fantasy of reality we claim to live in, where ‘Your health is your wealth has become nothing more than a phrase’, We live in a world where you sacrifice your health in order to make money. Then you sacrifice money to recuperate your health, and we are so so anxious about the future we don’t pay attention to the present.

A world where nothing is free, a world where freedom itself comes with strings attached; Where definition restricts us. I am lucky enough to live in a generation where (no thanks to the media) I can observe a worldwide revolution brewing up. A lot of people will disagree or say that nothing will change, and those people are the ones that will sit at home and complain about taxes, and the government. They choose to remain ignorant.

Structure, boundaries, laws and religion are considered some of the main factors as to what keeps control and gets up by; and I am often told that religion is based upon faith and faith is strengthened by life experience, so what would I know seeming as I am only 17? I am told to give it a chance. My response consists mainly of the fact that I firmly believe that the fact that I am so young means that I see the world for the cruel, vicious, greedy, reality that we have made it, rather than what I have learned to let it be, our knowledge has made us cynical. J.F.K once said that “Every generation needs a revolution” and Gandhi “Be the change you want to see in the world” well I think it’s about time that the people revolt and bite the hand that feeds, to return what was taken from them and to end war on a world that was not created with borders.

I believe it is about time we put an end to men being turned into animals, butchers, criminals or as some like to call them ‘war heroes’. No man deserves to be treated like a machine, stripped of emotion, stripped of fear told what to do, what to think and what to feel you are men not machines you have the love of humanity in your hands, those in charge do not. Those in charge are poisoned with greed, Don’t fight for slavery fight for liberty, fight for hope, fight war not wars! “Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people”

They/we the people are led to believe that justice is not a crime. War is not in the name of justice? invading a country, killing innocent people, and being rewarded; That’s vengeance not justice. To live a life of pain and trauma, routine and rank, without the option to question, without the choice, I fail to see the freedom there.

I believe that the world was not made with borders and neither were we. Our imagination is limitless. Our body and mind, our opinions, and thoughts are all controlled and influenced in some way or another let it be by society, family, materials, or psychology one thing that remains a fact is that our imagination is a key under researched, under estimated key tool.

These are opinions and thoughts that I have picked up while facing a crossroad in my life. A crossroad that we all face. I chose to be seen as the misfit by society, the minority, because I chose to opt out. And my reason as to why is because the way I see life is as being a big misunderstood ball of emotional consequences. Every action is essentially a reaction of society’s line of action, every move is an influence. Its a choice consisting of two possible outcomes: The first simply being to go with the system and live a life of boundaries. The second outcome is for the minority. Its for those who opt out of the system and strive toward living a virtuous free life. Why? you might ask are people ignorant of this so called ‘decision’ we all face. Well its simply because the decision has been made for, the ways of society buy people in.

If our priorities were based around love rather than greed we would live in a very different world. Ignorance is bliss and in a way we are all a bit blissfully ignorant. We abuse nature, life and harmony all to feed our greedy needs. Greedy needs that have no benefit but a lot of consequences. But yet we can justify war, violence, corporal greed, butchery, massacres, corruption and religion(I’ll explain that controversial point at a later point). and why? its all to feed our filthy craving for more. We have sold ourselves to the materialistic world, to commercialization, what should matter doesn’t even cross our mind anymore. Emphaty has taken a whole new turn in the mind of peoples in today’s society. 

It is sick to see what we have let ourselves become. We play the fool, we need guidance, we aspire to a leader on all imaginable levels. Don’t get me wrong a leader, structure is defiantly needed or can contribute/help a lot under certain circumstances but when you take a look at the oppression and revolt of the people, when some of our biggest crisis’s like the war on drugs ,end with the law and the dealers being tho only ones who want it to remain illegal,all the while people are dying because of it. The government are pumping our money into solving it and the business behind it are making triple amounts, Its issues like these where you have to question the authority and well being of our country..do they really care about us? does anybody?

Structure is fine to an extent, but how many politicians are in it for the love of the job more than the money? not many. As far as I see it the leader of any country is nothing more than a fantasy, a mere leading role in a puppet show played to an ignorant audience. Will it stop? no, no it will not. And why not? because they have the power over you they have control and who gives it to them them? the people do. The people need to wake up and realise that the power of the people is stronger than the people in power. We need to stop trying to answer questions, filling in gaping holes, cravings to fit in by turning to power. Its about time the people stopped living their life enslaved to the ego.

Adopt yourself to you,nourish your soul and cleanse your mind, happiness is the key to success so project yourself to yourself and go find happiness in yourself rather than in structure and boundaries. Stop living your life as a number, stop trying to fit in. Observe how society treats both the misfit and the revolutionary, take note and face reality head on. At the moment you aren’t much more than a spare part of a machine that hasn’t been pieced together yet. ‘emancipate yourself from mental slavery’ every day you live your life as you’re expected to, or as you believe it to be, as it plays out, You lessen your chance. Your chances begin to deteriorate away.

You have every opportunity, the capability to be more successful than any musician, than any artist or movie star. It is in you, maybe not in the same way but if you are leading yourself to believe that you are nothing without attention and media then your expectations of success is a narrow minded, stereotypical, cliched image. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

When we take a look at the U.S.A, after many years of violence and corruption it was only when the Vietnam war took place(the first televised war) that the people began to realise that the american dream was in fact quite accurate, because you had to dream it to believe it.

I strongly disagree with terminology on words such as Love, Reality, and Freedom. It takes a mature mind aware of its own ignorance to realise that freedom is nothing more than an overused term with an unknown meaning. A government whom preaches of freedom yet entitles you to civil rights? I believe that to be selective freedom, and there is no such thing as ‘selective freedom’. Putting terminology on words like ‘love, reality and freedom’ gives boundaries, and although it may help to inform it also restricts.

When you stop and take a look around, when you observe how the people/ the majority of what is supposedly a ‘fair democracy’ treat both misfit and the revolutionary. The ones that are not afraid to stand out from the ‘social chain of normality’ It is then that I become amazed at how everything can be continued to be seen through rose tinted glasses. I have said it before and I will without hesitation say it again ‘Knowledge is Power’

The sooner people begin to take the beauty of their own chaos over anybody else’s ugly perfection the better. Rather than looking at the past and thinking about how far we have come, take the time to realise that the past is just the future with the lights turned on. We deserve to live in a world without suicide bombers, 9/11, 7/7, a world without witch hunts, or gun powder plots, and northern Ireland troubles implanted into our history. We deserve to live in a world free of massacres, free of partitions, segregation, discrimination, unjust conviction, oppression, sexism, racism, and deliberate approved violence. 

The people of this world deserve to be happy without corrupt governments to oppress them. We ‘the people’ have the power to do so, to rid the world of all of this hurt, for it is the people who hold the power. Lets live in harmony and peace. Unless we change our ways soon there will be no second class citizen in time. In order to solve the problem we just keep creating more and more devaluing currency and inflation rises.

We need to stop buying into commercialization to the extent we do. We need to stop being so naive towards the media. We need to analyse the facts and make our own mind up. We need to potentially finnish what we never got around to starting. We need to let religion play its role for you, rather than you playing your role for religion. Religion is there to satisfy faith, not order, it is there to comfort you not restrict you. God is the answer to your questions not a concept by which you measure your pain.

We have given everything boundaries..even life. You can stay inside them or choose to break free, because when you believe, anything is possible. Begin change by revolutionizing yourself.
